D.G. Emission Monitoring

Diesel generators used in industries release high levels of harmful pollutants, such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, and particulate matter, into the air. These substances pollute the atmosphere and degrade the air quality in surrounding areas. Infants and the elderly are especially vulnerable to the harmful effects of these pollutants.

Main pollutants released by diesel generators:

Arsenic
Benzene
Nitrogen Oxide
Carbon Monoxide
Hydrocarbons
Fine Particulate Matter

Effects of exhaust from diesel generators:

Long-term exposure to nitrogen oxide can lead to asthma, chronic lung diseases, and respiratory infections.
Breathing in carbon monoxide is similar to smoking cigarettes and can cause dizziness, fatigue, headaches, and confusion.
